⚖️ Counter-Notification
If you believe that the content removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notification was misidentified or removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include the following:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your judicial district, or if outside the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction in any judicial district in which the service provider may be found.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Naij.ng may restore the removed content in compliance with applicable laws unless the copyright owner files a lawsuit seeking a court order.
